The best part of this show isn't the preventing-the-apocalypse action — it's the freaky sexual tension between teenage John Connor (Thomas Dekker) and his superhot cyborg protector (Summer Glau). Is America ready for a human-on-robot hookup? We vote yes!

Io9 was on a conference call with star Lena Headey and producer Josh Friedman, and here’s what they had to say about John’s high school life:
We have pretty much seen the last of John’s high school days. Sarah will be home-schooling him (in pain.) No more scenes of John sitting in a classroom doodling IEDs. But we will see him interacting with kids from high school.
New Thomas video interview about season 2 behind the cut! Thanks to Sarah Connor Society.
TVGuide Channel’s InFANity will run an hour long special focusing on T:SCC. First airing will be on Sunday, August 31 at 7PM Eastern Time with several repeats throughout the week.
Included will be interviews with Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker and Summer Glau. Also: secrets from the stunt coordinator and makeup department.
Summer Glau talks about the John and Cameron relationship on the SFX Magazine. You can see scans at Sarah Connor Society.
Last year fans were conjecturing whether a romance would blossom between the eerily human Cameron and her charge, John. But this year, Friedman introduces Riley (Leven Rambin) an actual love interest for John.
With that move, Glau says the shift is back to the dysfunctional family unit.
“I think the relationship between John and Cameron is so much more complicated than ‘I have a crush on you’. I didn’t want it to be an easy payoff. People were starting to expect it and it’s much more complicated.
Their relationship with one another in the future - we don’t know what that is - or exactly how he programmed her,” she teases. “And the stuff we do in the first episode - the scenes between us are amazing. It’s always going to be sort of a dysfunctional family because we belong to each other. You can’t help who your family is. We’re connected and we can’t help it”.
Two new posters have also been added to the photo gallery. One is really T2 like, the other really T1 like.
A Jameron question has been asked to Kristin Dos Santos in her spoiler chat, and what an answer we had!!
Pam in Singapore: Any scoop on John and Cameron’s relationship on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles?
Cameron says those three little words to John in the first episode—which is wacky, seeing as how she’s a sociopathic robot. Right?
Thomas Dekker has been acting since the age of six and has had roles in “CSI,” “House, MD” “Boston Public” and even “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” but it was his breakout performance as Zach on the first season of “Heroes” that really got him noticed. After eleven episodes, Dekker left the show amidst some controversy and got the part of John Connor on Fox’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” He is the fourth out of five actors who have been hired to play the part originated by Edward furlong in 1991’s “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” The Fox series aired during the Writers Strike, one of the few shows on at the time with new episodes, and soon developed a following strong enough to get it renewed for a second season, which begins September 8. CBR News sat down with Thomas Dekker at last month’s Comic-Con International in San Diego to talk about the brand new season and what’s in store for the savior of the human race.
Aldea nicely donated the season 01 gag reel video for the site. You can watch it clicking on the thumbnail below.
